Las estrategias curriculares de la carrera de Medicina en la matemática del curso Preparatorio/Curricular strategies of the medicine carrier in the mathematics of the preparatory course

Resumen

Objetivo: evaluar la implementación de las estrategias curriculares de la carrera de Medicina en la asignatura matemática del curso Preparatorio de la Escuela Latinoamericana de Medicina.
Materiales y método: estudio descriptivo longitudinal, que abarca septiembre de 2010 hasta julio de 2016, evidencias revisadas en planes y actas de actividades metodológicas, controles docentes, materiales para la dirección del proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje y los trabajos científicos elaborados.
Resultados: se sustituyó la dirección del proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje del idioma inglés por la del desarrollo de las habilidades comunicativas en español, en matemática. Se evidenció que se encuentra implementado el trabajo con las cuatro estrategias curriculares aprobadas y la del idioma español, aunque en algunas variables no se pudo constatar en el tiempo porque escasean las anotaciones sobre cuál o cuáles fueron utilizadas, y el modo.
Conclusiones: las estrategias curriculares de la carrera de Medicina constituyen un eje curricular para el logro de objetivos generales relacionados con conocimientos, habilidades y modos de actuación profesional, imposibles de lograr desde una sola disciplina, a pesar de la inestabilidad de la dirección del departamento. Se aprecia que se está en condiciones de perfeccionar el trabajo metodológico con las estrategias curriculares como se recogen en el nuevo plan de estudio D.

ABSTRACT
Objective: to evaluate the implementation of curricular strategies of medicine carrier in the subject mathematics of preparatory course of Latin American Medicine School.
Materials and method: a longitudinal descriptive study that comprises from September 2010 to July 2016, evidences received in plans and methodological activities reports, academic controls, materials for the direction of the teaching learning process and the elaboration of scientific works.
Results: the direction of the teaching learning process of English language was substituted by the devel-opment of communicative abilities in Spanish, in Mathematics. It was evidenced that the work with the four curricular strategies approvaled and the one of the Spanish language, although in some variables was not possible to verify in the time, because the notifications on it or them scarcely were used and the way.
Conclusions: the curricular strategies of the Medicine carrier constitute a curricular pivot for the achievement of general objectives related to knowledges, abilities and ways of professional performance, impossible to achieve from only one discipline, although the instability of the department direction. It has seen that there are conditions to improve the methodological work with the curricular strategies of Medicine as they are harvest in the new study plan D.
